Beloved Youth of CEECK,

With deep joy and heartfelt gratitude, I warmly welcome you all to this year's Annual CEECK Youth Conference.

It is a blessing to witness your vibrant energy, unwavering zeal, and steadfast commitment to the Church and to your department. Your presence here is a powerful testimony to your love for Christ and your desire to grow in faith, fellowship, and service.

I extend my sincere appreciation to each of you for choosing to be part of this sacred gathering. Your dedication inspires hope and assures us that the future of the Church is in faithful and capable hands.

To the organizers and facilitators—thank you for your tireless efforts, your vision, and your labor of love. Your planning, prayers, and preparation have made this conference possible, and we are grateful for your leadership and sacrifice.

As we embark on this journey together, may the Lord pour out His Spirit upon you. May this conference be a time of renewal, revelation, and revival. I pray that you will be strengthened in your calling, enriched in your fellowship, and empowered to be bold witnesses of Christ in your generation.

Go forth with courage, joy, and purpose. The Church believes in you. I believe in you. And above all, God is with you.

"Restored, Rooted, and Ready for His Coming"

📖 SCRIPTURE READINGS:

• • Old Testament: Amos 9:11–15 – A promise of restoration and fruitfulness.

🕊️ PASTORAL MESSAGE FROM THE BISHOP:

Beloved Saints of CEECK,

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As we journey through this sacred season of Advent, our hearts are stirred by the promises of restoration, the call to steadfast faith, and the assurance of divine truth.

The Word of the Lord in Amos 9:11-15 reminds us that God is a restorer—He rebuilds what has fallen, plants His people in their land, and blesses them with fruitfulness. This is a season of divine rebuilding in our lives, families, and ministry.

In Psalm 63:1-8, we are drawn into the psalmist's deep longing for God: "My soul thirsts for You, my flesh longs for You in a dry and weary land." May this be our posture in Advent—hungering for His presence, clinging to Him as our help and our joy.

Paul's words in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3, 13-17 urge us not to be shaken or deceived, but to stand firm in the truth we have received. We are chosen, sanctified, and called to eternal glory. Let us hold fast to the traditions of faith and be strengthened in every good word and work.

Finally, in John 5:30-47, Jesus testifies that His judgment is just because He seeks not His own will but the will of the Father. He invites us to believe not only in His works but in the Scriptures that testify of Him.

In this Advent, may we renew our commitment to listen to His voice, believe His testimony, and walk in the light of His truth.

Let us prepare our hearts with joy and expectation, for the Lord is near. He is restoring, guiding, and revealing Himself to those who seek Him earnestly.

🙏 Prayer Focus This Week

• • That God may restore every broken area in our lives and ministry.
• • That we may thirst for His presence like the psalmist.
• • That we may stand firm in the truth and resist deception.
• • That we may hear and obey the voice of Christ in this season.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

North Region Joint Service & EMA Conference Closing Ceremony

DECEMBER 2025

Grace and Peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Bishop is pleased to announce a Joint Worship Service scheduled to take place on Sunday, 28th December 2025 at All Saints Shibutso Parish.

This special gathering will bring together congregations from across the North Region in a Spirit of Unity, Thanksgiving, and Fellowship. The service will also mark the Closing Ceremony of the Episcopal Men's Association (EMA) Annual Conference, which concludes on the same day.

The service will be presided over by the Bishop.

We warmly invite all clergy, lay leaders, EMA members, and the faithful from across the region to attend this momentous occasion. Let us come together to celebrate the work of the Lord, reflect on the journey of the EMA, and receive the Bishop's pastoral charge as we prepare for the new year.

Neema na amani viwe nanyi katika jina la Bwana na Mwokozi wetu Yesu Kristo.

Mnapoanza Mkutano wenu wa Kila Mwaka wa Shirika la Wanawake kuanzia tarehe 2 hadi 6 Desemba 2025, naandika kuwafikishia salamu zangu za shukrani, heri njema na kuwatia moyo kwa niaba ya Kanisa zima.

MADA ya mwaka huu,

kutoka Warumi 12:9–10

("Upendo na uwe wa kweli. Chukieni maovu, shikamaneni na mema. Pendaneni ninyi kwa ninyi kwa upendo wa kindugu; tangulianeni kwa heshima")

ni mada ya wakati muafaka na yenye nguvu ya kiroho. Inatuita kuishi kwa upendo wa kweli, kuheshimiana kwa moyo wa unyenyekevu, na kushikilia mema kwa bidii;

na hayo ni maadili ambayo Shirika la Wanawake mmeyaonyesha kwa uaminifu na ustadi mwaka mzima.

Huduma yenu ya kujitolea, Ibaada yenu ya dhati, na mchango wenu mkubwa kwa kazi ya Mungu ndani ya Kanisa umetambuliwa na kuthaminiwa sana.

NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT

Director of Diocesan Programs and Protocol

DECEMBER 2025

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

After prayerful discernment and consideration, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Rev. Fr. Joseph Lumumba Omusonga as the Director of Diocesan Programs and Protocol, effective 01-01-2026.

In this capacity, Fr. Joseph will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of all Diocesan events, Clergy and Laity trainings, and the Planning and management of the Bishop's itinerary and official engagements.

His role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of Diocesan programs and upholding the dignity and order of our ecclesial functions.

We are confident that Fr. Joseph's pastoral experience, organizational acumen, and deep commitment to the mission of the Church will greatly enrich our diocesan life and ministry.

Let us uphold him in our prayers as he undertakes this important responsibility in service to God and His people.

As you commence your Annual Ladies League Conference from the 2nd to the 6th of December 2025 at Eshitari Parish in South region, I write to extend my Heartfelt appreciation, Goodwill, and Encouragement on behalf of the entire Church.

This year's theme, drawn from Romans 12:9–10:

"Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor"

NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT

Directors of the Department of Liturgy and Catechesis

Grace and peace to You in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

It is with Prayerful discernment and Pastoral joy that I hereby announce the appointment of Rev. Fr. Dismus Ambululi and Rev. Fr. Luke Simiyu as Co-Directors of the Department of Liturgy and Catechesis within the Communion of Evangelical Churches of Kenya (CEECK), effective this Advent Season, 2025.

In this sacred and strategic role, Rev. Fr. Dismus Ambululi and Rev. Fr. Luke Simiyu shall jointly oversee and ensure the strict, orderly, and spiritually enriching flow of all liturgical activities across our CEECK Worship system.

Their responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:

• Coordinating the planning and execution of all liturgical celebrations, ensuring reverence, doctrinal soundness, and uniformity across Parishes.
• Supervising the preparation and use of liturgical texts, Sacramental rites, and sacred music in accordance with CEECK traditions.
• Guiding Clergy and Lay ministers in liturgical formation and best practices.
• Overseeing the structure, content, and delivery of catechism classes for children, youth, and adult converts.
• Ensuring the faithful transmission of CEECK doctrinal teachings, rooted in Holy Scripture and the historic creeds of the Church.
• Developing and disseminating catechetical materials and resources for Parish use.
• Promoting liturgical and catechetical renewal through workshops, retreats, and ongoing formation.
• Collaborating with parish leadership to foster deeper understanding and participation in the sacramental and teaching life of the Church.

This appointment reflects our continued commitment to liturgical excellence and doctrinal integrity, which are foundational to the Spiritual growth and Unity of our Church.

Let us uphold Rev. Fr. Dismus Ambululi and Rev. Fr. Luke Simiyu in our prayers as they undertake this noble ministry with diligence, humility, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
